Description

Introducing The Articulated Hand

This is a poseable articulated hand design that has a biomechanical twist.

Printing

  • Print Profiles attached is separated by core and shell parts and are pre colored.
  • Create your own colorway by matching different filament to each color group.
  • Use your fanciest or shiniest filaments for best results.
  • Does not require AMS.
  • Designed to be printed at a 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle.
  • Printing times are around 7 Hours total (0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle).
  • There are some supports on each side of the shell

Assembly

Assembly is rather straight forward. Much of the design is print in place.

  1. Attach the palm cover to the hand core by aligning the two pegs into their holes and pushing.

  2. Attach the back cover to the hand core by aligning the 4 circles with the their respective holes and pushing.

  3. Attach the hand to the stand core by inserting the hand bottom between the two spheres at the top of the stand core. The stand should bend a little here

  4. Push the stand core into the stand shell.
