Compact ampoule breaker

Ampoule breaker that fits all DIN ampoule sizes (1 ml, 2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml and 20 ml).

Redesigned with a few improvements:

• More compact - now thumb sized
• Simplified - breaking area is now focused on one side, caps are tossed out the other side
• Staged holes - now matches the DIN ampoule sizes for a more reliable snag and snap
• Reinforced keyhole - thicker keyhole for enhanced durability

Comes in two different variations:

• Size - small vs. large, for more gripping area
• Window - no vs. yes, for viewing of ampoule orientation (e.g. dot facing you)
  • No window is preferable as the glass can fly out the window and potentially cut you still

Instructions:

• Orientate the ampoule with the neck dot facing you
  • If the ampoule does not have a dot (e.g. has a ring all around instead), then the orientation does not matter
• Insert the ampoule until the neck is aligned with the holes, then slide the ampoule to the right until it catches in place
• Break the ampoule by pushing it away from you (e.g. opposite direction to the dot)

Notes:

• Models of ampoules are also included for testing and simulation purposes. Note that they will NOT be broken by this model unless printed with no infill because they lack the weak point built into real glass ampoules.
