Boost Me (for free)

I hope you enjoy this design as much as I did!  If you like it, please rate / like / boost so I can keep making more things!

We all know the built in camera on the Bambu Lab A1 leaves MUCH to be desired, and it's hard to actually monitor your print!  I wanted to watch a live video feed on demand so…

Enter the watchtower camera mount!  This 3 piece camera mounting system includes a base to screw onto the side of your worktable / bench, a hollow tower tube, and a mount for the top!  The wire can be hidden inside of the tube, and you can adjust your camera for whatever angle you like!  Since it slides together, you can easily take it down if you're moving or doing maintenance and it feels like it's in the way (I've never had to, but options!)

I use Ring cameras and that's how the screw holes are spaced, but you should be able to make this work with anything that includes a wall mounting plate just screwed directly into the top piece!

First photo is the field of view I have my camera set at, and second is the original Bambu A1 camera which gives 1 blurry image every 5 seconds or so.

I recommend printing the tube vertically as set up in the print profile, since when printed horizontally the layer lines may split when you assemble.
