I recommend printing the second version; each edge features rounded corners for smoother rotation, and the size has been increased by 1.5 times.
Let me preface this by stating that I do not recommend printing this model, as it does not offer the same smooth operation as commercially available equivalents. I created this model solely to practice designing rotating axes. Of course, if you are interested in “abstract art” (as depicted in the final photograph), you are welcome to print it to showcase your imagination. The model I uploaded comprises 24 sections, each consisting of 24 components printed in orange and white filament respectively. You are free to increase or decrease the number of components. Finally, I strongly recommend using PETG filament; PLA lacks sufficient strength.
