Description

Boost Me (for free)

✨ Boost me and help retire my veteran Ender 3 for a shiny Bambu Lab ✨

I designed this spool stand and filament guide to improve stability and print quality when using the Ender 3 V3 SE, especially during high-speed printing.

Key Features:

  • Stable Feeding: Prevents wobble and vibrations that often occur when the spool is mounted on top of the printer.
  • Improved Print Quality: Reduces filament drag and helps maintain consistent layers at high speeds.
  • Rotating Filament Guide: Includes an additional rotating guide for smoother filament flow when feeding from below.

Required Hardware:

  • Main Stand:
      • 2 × 608 ZZ bearings
      • 2 × M3x20 mm screws
      • 3 × M3x10 mm screws
  • Filament Guide:
      • 1 × 608 ZZ bearing

All other components are 3D printable.

Printing Recommendation:

  • Use 1.5 mm wall thickness for strength, as the model supports the spool’s weight.
