Description

When I saw the contest for the benchy anniversary, I was planning on going to the range with a friend, and then I had this dumb idea in which I never questioned if it was a good idea, only a funny one. I printed it out of PETG since the PLA one was a bit fragile in the thinner areas. I modeled it using dimensionally accurate rails. The ghost ring and indicators themselves were aligned along the x axis when modelling so in theory they are straight with the rail and the gun barrel. I tweaked a second version of it to make it more stable, and this one has a thumb screw in the back that locks it into the rail.

I would recommend printing it with supports since the rings can sag a bit, but they are not absolutely needed. I did 2 colors to make the indicators pop as well but there is a second plate with just 1 color.

Much to my surprise I did range test it the day after printing and it can function decently at short ranges and was not destroyed by recoil.
