Just needs a minimum of glue to assemble the pieces, and the base is printed at 100% infill (~40g) for extra weight and stability — so it won’t tip over when things go... wrong 😄

Detailed Version:

Tries to imitate the iconic Amiga 500 case with it ridges on the backside and two status LEDs on the right side.

Simple Version:

A simpler version for those who just want a display without any gimmicks.

Assembly:

After printing is done and you removed the supports, just use some superglue to connect the base, connector and display together. The actual error “screen” is a press fit and fits snugly in the display with a little bit of force - Glue is optional for these two parts. 

If you decide to print the detailed version, you should print the two fake LEDs in red and yellow for more authenticity but the choice of colour is up to you. The LEDs belong to the two empty slots on the right side and should be a press fit too - a bit more force might be necessary here.

⚠️ Attention - Read carefully ⚠️

The upper part of the model uses almost the entire width of the build plate and is therefore positioned very close to the AUX fan. Its constant airflow can lead to poor bed adhesion in that area, potentially causing the edges to lift. Factors that can further contribute to this issue include, for example, an unclean build plate or incorrectly set bed temperature. To reduce the risk of warping, I suggest disabling the AUX fan as soon as the first layer is printed and starts spinning up.

The filament I used for printing the big pieces is “Eleg oo Matte Beige PLA” (I had to separate the name because it resembles the famous brick maker company and that word is not allowed in descriptions. Just remove the space between the g and oo if you search for that certain PLA"
