Description

Fold Up Shovel

Light weight, perfect for hiking or gardening. Folds up to save space when not in use!

When opened up, it measures 18 inches long! (and even prints on an A1 Mini)

I have also included two ends (blades?) for the shovel as well. One with a jagged edge and the other is a regular smooth edge.

When assembling the shovel, please take care to ensure the that handle and shaft/pole an in the appropriate orientation!

There is a “rough” edge and a smooth edge to each of the threaded nuts. Be sure to have the smooth edges facing each other in the center of the shovel. The “rough” edges are to provide slightly more grip / tension against the shovel and and the handle end.

Also, you will want to glue the pins in place so they do not fall off when the shovel is folded up!

Now, this is not a steel shovel and it WILL NOT DIG THROUGH HARDENED DIRT! Please don't complain you were digging into clay and compact dirt and it broke… it's a plastic shovel! With that said, the 0.20 Strength Profile was chosen and I was able to move around plenty of loose dirt and soil. Like Gardening soil in Planters, etc.
The print orientation for the shovel was also tested for strength. So the blade supports in place do help keep things a little stronger.
This would also be a great shovel for a day at The Beach!

Where will you use this shovel?

I chose grey and black for my shovel, but you can choose whatever colors you want!
