Description

V2 - Dash Mount Ford F-150 2015-2020 and F-250 F-350 (2017-2022) with 8" Screen

Wanted to reprint this in PAHT-CF so it would endure the scorching Arizona summers but also wanted to make some adjustments to the design to make it even easier to print then my first version.

Changes:

-V2 now prints at a default orientation on its side with the front laying down against the plate.

-Various small adjustments and changes have been made to reduce filament usage by about 30% since this can now be printed without using any supports.

-The inner top face of the slots have an added ‘support’ arm added to allow for the long bridging in this area.

-Triangular cutouts added to front face as design element and to reduce filament use while maintaining necessary rigidity.

-Side circles cutouts have been replaced with triangular elements for different look and also to facilitate cleaner print with no supports.

-All other mounting holes and dimensions identical to V1 and still 100% with the mounting plate.

Designed this mounting system to for my F250s center dash console to attached AMPS and RAM mount style plates/balls. Inspired by similar systems sold by various vendors, but with adjustments to add the required rigidity for 3D printed application.

Grab the back plate also for added strength and rigidity when attaching to the plastic dash tray:
