Filament Dry Box with Silica Gel Container and Label

The latest version of the popular filament dry box is now available for download. This one is highlighted in Yellow, while the other images still show the first version. Feedback from the previous version has been incorporated.

• The base for the filament spool has been enlarged to accommodate even smaller spools
• The delicate label holder is eliminated by changing the hygrometer holder. The new label is now inserted onto the hygrometer from the back, meaning no additional holder is needed
• The lid of the silica box now has a snap-lock to prevent accidental opening. Lightly press the marked area on the back wall to remove the lid
• Supports are no longer required, as the hygrometer holder is placed separately on the build plate. It is inserted afterwards, with the dovetail end needing to point towards the silica compartment

The positive features of the first version are retained.

• Only 51g of filament is needed for the basic structure
• The print time has remained the same at 2.2 hours
• Round hygrometers with retaining clips at 5 and 11 o'clock and at 12 and 6 o'clock are supported
• A purge tower is also still not required

The new version also fits very tightly, so the cereal box can still be turned upside down to create more shelf space (see post photo).
