Description
Modular Hydroponic Tower Bucket Lid (US Market Compatible)
Easily 3D print your own sturdy, modular bucket lid designed specifically for use with Hoocho's Hydroland-compatible modular hydroponic towers. This lid is crafted to fit standard US 5-gallon buckets from popular retailers like Home Depot and Lowe's, as well as food-grade buckets ranging from 3 to 7 gallons, whether purchased locally or online.
Key features include
- Universal Fit: Compatible with various US bucket brands and sizes (3, 5, 6, and 7-gallon buckets).
- Strength and Durability: Optimized for durability and structural integrity to reliably support hydroponic towers, tested extensively with towers up to 9 modules (36 planting sites).
- Flexible Assembly: Easily assemble using standard M8 screws or zip ties. Includes optional 3D-printable screws and nuts in two print orientations:
- Vertical Profile: For quick and easy assembly (use care to avoid overtightening).
- Horizontal Profile: For increased strength and durability, suitable for tighter assembly.
- Material Recommendation: Print using PETG filament for enhanced durability and longevity; avoid PLA as it may degrade after prolonged use (6-12 months).
- Print Settings: Designed for easy printing on 3D printers with bed sizes around 250mm x 250mm. The default recommended layer height is 0.20mm, but feel free to use larger layer heights for quicker prints without sacrificing functionality.
Enjoy hassle-free gardening and superior stability with this optimized, practical solution to building your modular hydroponic tower.
