This model is designed to connect the Bambu Lab AMS HT to either the AMS or AMS 2 Pro.
The original AMS v1 (older version) is also supported, but it requires a different front part due to differences in the chamber design. Please verify your AMS version before printing.

The main purpose of this connector is to keep the AMS HT close to the AMS when mounted on top of an X1C, P1S, or P1P printer.

🔧 All parts are designed to slide and fit together without additional fasteners, except for the spool holder, which requires two M3x10 mm screws (nuts are optional but recommended).

 

Options & Features

  • 🌀 Spool holder (optional) – for a clean and tidy setup in any configuration
  • 📏 Available in two lengths:
    110 mm for the most compact setup
    150 mm for easier access
  • ⚙️ Based on the original Bambu Lab spool holder 
  • 🔄 Improved version tested with the Spool Roller by suit1337 (optional, but recommended):
    Spool Roller Holder by suit1337
  • 🛠️ If not using the spool holder, a stabilizer is recommended to prevent slight bending if placed on top of your printer— depending on your material and print settings. Not needed for flat surface.

🧱 All versions are also available for the popular AMS Riser – with an additional curved notch for a smooth fit.

 

Important Notes

  • This design uses 0.1 mm tolerances for a precise and stable fit.
  • Ensure your printer is well-calibrated and your filament is clean, dry, and high quality.
  • Print profiles and supports are optimized for “Support for PLA”.
    Removing supports may be difficult without this setting.

 

Important:
I’ve shared the many variations across multiple profiles.
Please make sure you have the correct one — the profile name should help you identify it.

Assembly Tutorial

There are multiple versions available. Please verify which one matches your AMS setup before printing.

🧩 Tolerances are tight (0.1 mm) for best stability. Clean all printed parts carefully and check orientation before applying force — especially the cap, which fits very tightly.
Tip: Use a clamp to press the final millimeter during assembly.
