I crafted these maracas for the tiny hands of a newborn. A 4mm rod of sturdy material (metal, wood, or carbon) can be inserted into the handle for added safety, preventing breakage of the slender handle designed for small hands. Small pieces of 1.75mm wire, 5-6mm in length, may be added inside the maracas to enhance the sound.
Always supervise children when using!

I built this Maracas for the small hands of a newborn. Inside the handle you can insert a 4mm rod made of resistant material (metal, wood, carbon) for possible greater safety, so as not to break the handle which is thin just for the hands of newborns. Inside the maracas you can insert small pieces of 1.75 wire 5 or 6 mm long to complete the instrument.
Always use in the presence of an adult!
