Introducing Pinuccio! I've crafted a reusable car air freshener, shaped like the iconic Abre Magique.
Pinuccio is approximately one centimeter taller and wider than the original. Its interior accommodates a replaceable cotton disc infused with your preferred fragrance. You can use concentrated perfumes, such as Mafra brand, or essential oils.
Pinuccio features a hole for a cord or elastic, allowing you to hang it from your rearview mirror, gear shift, headrest, or simply rest it in a door pocket.
The print comprises two parts, with visible faces resting on the print bed for a consistently refined finish. Assembly is straightforward: the two halves interlock—one with holes, the other with pegs. Pinuccio's central cavity, 60mm in diameter, houses the scented cotton disc, sandwiched between the joined halves.
I used my wife's standard, economical 58mm x 2mm cotton makeup remover pads—less than one euro per pack.
Two profiles are included: one for a textured finish using a PEI plate, and another for a glossy finish, or for textured applications using adhesive plates.
My Pinuccio prints utilize TPU for AMS, resulting in a pleasantly soft yet suitably rigid product.
