This model is suitable as an educational model to understand and demonstrate the functionality. On the other hand, it's also simply a lot of fun to play with. (Rice is very suitable as a conveyor material)
Here we have an auger conveyor. These belong to the continuous conveyors in conveyor technology. A well-known application example is the conveying of plastic pallets in injection molding machines. They function similarly to a motion screw.
Assembly:
- Insert the feet onto the tube
- Insert the spindle into the tube (the side with the hexagon downwards)
- Insert the lid onto the tube
- Insert the lever onto the hexagon of the spindle
- Insert the funnel into the material hole
- Load material & have fun
