Description
This kit adapts a 12cm computer case fan into a desktop fan; a high-speed fan of 3300 RPM or more is recommended, as standard case fans lack sufficient airflow
Required parts: One high-speed 12V PC case fan, eight #6-32UNC screws (standard PC case fan mounting screws), adhesive, and one 220V to 12V speed control power supply. These are all readily and inexpensively available online
Notes: When printing the second plate's "front and rear shrouds," be aware that printing failures are possible. To mitigate this, enable raft printing with two layers; this will make disassembly slightly more challenging. Only install the upper and lower locating pins; omit the left and right ones
