ABOUT COMMERCIAL USE
I'm happy to share my designs but please note that them are for personal use only. This means you can print them for your own pleasure but I have NOT provided any commercial license to anyone to sell either digital or physical copies of my designs (e.g.: you cannot sell 3D-prints of this design). I will not hesitate to report to Etsy or other sites admin if I find them being sold there for profit.

This is a box I designed for allocating a classical Sanwa OSBF 30 arcade microswitch pushbutton for an artistical/educational installation having lot of colored box buttons (see pictures for having an idea). This design is also useful if you need medium-size individual buttons for making things such like electronic quiz games, emergency pushbuttons and so on.
Design is made in two parts that needs to be screwed together: the enclosure (box) and an enclosure lid. Enclosure has a 4.6mm diameter hole for letting cable coming out from the pushbutton. Lid has 2 engraving on the bottom face for firmly attach the pushbutton so it can't rotate or removed. Please note: removing the button once attached will have some difficulties and there is the risk to break the lateral button flaps (I removed buttons lot of times and this never happened but flaps become weaker anyway).
Here is an assemblying schematic:

For completing the assembly of this enclosure you'll need, for each box you want to print:
- n°4 M3 brass inserts to be inserted in the 4 top holes of the box. Box holes have a diameter of 4.4mm and brass insert needs to be slightly bigger, so the brass inserts I listed below are good since are 5mm.
- n°4 M3 screws for attaching the lid on the box. Screw head must have a maximum diameter of 5.8mm and a maximum height of 2.2mm, so the screws I listed below are good since have an head diameter of 5.7mm and an head height of 1.65mm
- n°1 Sanwa (or compatible) 30x10 / 30x12 pushbutton. (I use the following: affiliate link)
