Hi there! 

 

I designed this slotted in poop bucket for the H2D!

I am not a huge fan of mounting a bucket/chute with magents only. The rear cover of the H2D is just a thin sheet of metal, you need very strong magnets and it could still move when the machine goes crazy. 

 

This just slots in and sits exactly where it needs to be, it will not move regardless of what the printer does. You can see in the video that the whole machine is moving when is shake the bucket :D

 

As you can see, the vent area below the poop exit is not covered by this model. 

 

 

The cut-out also works as a chute on the inside, that directs the poop bits to the rear left corner of the bucket, so it fills up evenly. 

 

 

 

My design uses no additional hardware, you can reuse the 3 screws that come with the printer to mount the two holder parts. 
You can use the 2mm hex key that comes with the printer to loosen and tighten them. 

 

BE CAUTIOUS WHEN YOU MOUNT THESE PARTS! DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!

 

The parts print without any supports. I printed mine from ABS GF because i use the chamber heater all the time and it gets quite toasty on the rear panel of the printer! Despite its size (270mm tall), it uses less than 200 grams of filament (if printed in ABS GF).

 

Because of its size, the Bucket itself can only be printed on a H2D. My CAD file for this is made so i can change the height by changing only one parameter, so let me know if you want to see a smaller, or even taller version - there is still room in both directions, and i can easily alter this :)

 

The recessed areas on the face of the bucket are not just a design feature, The walls are only 1,6mm thick so i added these for both rigidity and printability. Objects that are high and thin tend to get wobbly and move while printing, causing bad print quality. 

 

For those of you that purely use the printer for PLA, PETG, TPU and other materials that don't use the chamber heater, you can get away with printing this in PLA - i will provide a profile that uses PLA CF/PLA Basic - use with caution! I do not take responsibility for crumbled or warped buckets :'D
