Summary
These are pound-in edgings for surrounding a garden bed or a border around a soiled area. Perfect for small plant gardens for decorative purposes. It's super easy to install in the ground, all you need is a mallet! They're meant to connect together in straight lines with a simple sliding mechanism. However, you can also fit them together at 90-degree angles with simple “L" and “T” connectors.

Each interlocking piece measures 170mm wide by 165mm high (6.7" x 6.5"). Using a rubber mallet, you hammer each piece into the ground, interlocking it with the previous piece. Installation couldn't be simpler, and it's easy to stagger the top level for going up hills (something you cannot do easily with conventional edging).
For making corners or multiple sections, you can print the “L” or the “T” connectors on the second plate that use the same simple sliding mechanism to connect the pieces.
Preparation & Printing
- Tested with Ele-goo PETG.
- A 0.4mm nozzle with the 0.28mm layer height (Extra Draft) setting is fine. Of course, you can print at 0.2mm as well.
- No supports are required.
- Brim ears are recommended due to printing vertically.
- Print as many copies as you need that will fit on the plate.
Assembly
- Simply slide the pieces together. Easy!
- A rubber mallet is needed for pounding into the soil. It should go in relatively easily unless your soil is more like hard clay.
