🚌 How I came up with Rollo McFlex – a small everyday solution with a big impact
It began – as so often – with a small everyday problem. I was traveling with my motorhome, somewhere between mountains and coast, when I noticed: My paper roll no longer fit in the holder. At home, I always had these compact, short rolls. But on the road? At the supermarket, there were only the extra-long jumbo ones.
So it was: either improvise – or invent.
Back at the campsite, I started thinking: Why isn't there a paper roll holder that simply adapts? Whether short, long, thick or thin – it should be possible to build a holder that thinks along instead of being stubborn.
A few sketches, CAD hours and test prints later, it was born: Rollo McFlex – the first paper roll holder that adapts to any size and looks cool too. Developed for campers, workbenches, kitchens – and for everyone who doesn't want to rethink every time they buy a new roll.
What started as an emergency solution in the van is now a flexible, printable tool for everyday life. I'd be happy if you try it out – and perhaps bring a little more flexibility into your life. 😉
