Print-in-Place Marble Run
Print Profile(4)

Description
This is a sleek, print-in-place marble run with a manually (hand) operated helical lift that can function with 10+ (3d printable) 12mm diameter marbles at a time! This marble run features 2 tracks on either side of the lift: an angled helix track with a back-and-forth curve at the end, and a funnel track that makes the marbles spin round and round. The tracks each feed into the opposing side of the helix lift, so even one marble can loop the entire marble run.

Marble quick assembly:
- Push a rectangular pin into one semi-sphere of a marble
- Push the another marble semi-sphere onto the other side of the pin
If tolerances are too tight or loose for the marbles, scale the x and y directions by increments of .05mm until you find a width that works for you.
If stringing is an issue, a few options to try to fix the problem are:
- Set the nozzle to a lower temperature (or test with a temperature tower)
- Slow the print down
- Dry out your filament
Version History:
V1.1 (5/14/25) - Small tweaks to prevent more marbles from flying out of the run
V1.0 (5/12/25) - Original model
