Festool Kerf Jig - Waste side cut

This is a simple kerf jig made for the Festool TS 60 track saw, which uses a 1.8 mm wide blade. It's designed to help when you're cutting from the waste side — to the right of the right-hand track edge — where it’s easy to misjudge where the blade will actually cut.

You just slide the jig under your track, push the little 1.8 mm stopper up against the cut edge of the track, and that’s it — it shows you exactly where the blade will cut, taking the kerf into account. There’s also a small window so you can still see your board and any markings underneath.

The 3MF file includes two versions of the jig: one with a color change at layer 3 for easy-to-read lettering, and another with the lettering embossed so it prints cleanly in a single color. It’s a quick print and a super handy little tool to have when working from the waste side.

Step 1: 
Mark your work piece (140mm in this exemple). I like using a combination square for repeated cut, that's what I'm using here. 
 

Step 2: 
Slide  the kerf jig under the track

Step 3: 

Align the track with your mark (or use the combination square)

Step 4: 

Make your cut and check results! exaclty 140mm even if we measured from the ‘’waste'' side.
