Description

*2025 Update!* I have decided to update this design based on the feedback I've received over the years, and my own experience using and racing with the wheel. I'm also taking advantage of the Maker Supply feature to make it easier to source the hardware needed. For 2025, I am mostly adding improvement to the handles; they are now more comfortable and easier to assemble (with printable dowel pins and Maker Supply screws, instead of glue). I've also made improvements to the stiffness of the chassis, by thickening the top beam and adjusting some radii. Thank you all for printing and supporting my creation!

(Original description below)

Easy to print F1 style wheel. Goes together with glue/epoxy, or if you want the ability to change handles you can use Qty 4 M3x14 screws, Qty 4 M3 nuts, and Qty 8 M3 washers. This design was tested on a G29, but likely fits on G27/G920. Please search for instructions on removing the stock wheel, then this wheel simply attaches using the 6x center screws. I have included two button plungers to reach down and touch the stock switches. You will need 2x of each plunger length.

Recommend printing with at least 35% infill for acceptable stiffness. Only use support material in the screw holes on the front face. Assemble the two-piece handles with super glue or epoxy. Do not over-tighten the 6x G29 hub screws.
