Description

Important: V1 and V2 print profiles include a pause to change colors, V2.5 is AMS-enabled.

V2 and V2.5 feature different versions of the same design in different plates, please print only the one you need.

Update 02/09/2026:

I've added V2.5, which is optimized for color printing with an AMS.

Various parts can be colored independently, so feel free to customize the colors to your liking; however make sure the preview looks fine, and the filaments are not too transparent before printing it out.

Now with color, I've also added back the clue markers; optional of course. You can find the versions with and without clues in the same print profile.

Update 09/09/2025:

I've added a new model for the G&W case. It is much more pocket friendly, and it's also designed to carry the sound a little bit better compared to the previous one which somewhat muffled it.

The charging port and power button are easily accessible thanks to the side window, and the map of Hyrule has been somewhat simplified to enhance print quality: it no longer has the pinholes to indicate secrets, but the trade is that it prints out much nicer.

It's worth mentioning that I also decided to go with a less conspicuous design for the exterior: V2 does not have any external designs.

-------------------- V1 Text --------------------

This is a carrying case for the newer Game & Watch models Nintendo released some years ago. It's more so designed for the  The Legend of Zelda edition of it, but the Super Mario Bros. Edition also fits just fine.

The exterior is adorned with a simple Triforce, and the inside of the top part has a full map of Hyrule (from the first game), with the locations of dungeons and positive secret caves marked as little pin-holes (modeled after Quest 1). The latches that keep the case closed are decorated with little hearts.

A dual tone effect is achieved by pausing the print at layer 12, and switching to a different color of filament. You're  free to remove the pause, and either print it in a single color or coloring using an AMS.

There's two models available: A-Standard and B-Roomy. They're visually the same, what changes is the interior dimensions. A-Standard is sized to fit the Game & Watch system  perfectly, and B-Roomy has extra room for soft padding, or to use a silicone case with your device.

I personally prefer to use model B to prevent the edges of the device from becoming scuffed from contact with the printed plastic, but both should protect the important bits equally as fine.

Update 09/02/2025:

Added a new print profile for models that don't have any theming, as well as the step files for those models.

Also, I've created a remix themed around the Mario version of the G&W:

Update 05/17/2025:

Fixed minor mistake in the map, two open stairways were erroneously filled in around this cave. The images on here will retain the mistake, but the print profiles have been updated.
