Description

Updated @ Jan, 22nd, 2024

I've noticed some feedback that my default profile does not perform well on A1 series, mainly because of the overhang of the barrel and main body.

As I don't have a A1/A1 mini printer to verify, please be cautious if you would like to challenge on A1/A1 mini. And I would appreciate if anyone could share his/her A1 profile if succeeded.

Story continued from https://makerworld.com/zh/models/39368#profileId-38480

Once the kids know what their dad is capable, their dad got mind blown. So this time, I started from scratch and made them happy again.

This model works as the thumbnail GIF demonstrated.

The total range is around 7~8m, effective range is around 3~4m, should not worry about breaking your window, but I won't recommend to try it.

The assembly manual is in the thumbnails, should not be hard for you as you have already own a printer.

As I am not a glue fan, this time I adjusted the fitting relatively tight, especially when installing the “hand support”. My suggestion is applying some lubricant and use a small hammer gently.

----------------------

There are 3 parts need to be prepared separately

  1. bow string: the rubber diameter no more than 2 mm should be OK. I bought from here
  2. rubber ring: I used the same rubber ring with my katana, the folding diameter is 60mm
  3. PTFE tube: you could cut from your AMS. I did that.

----------------------

I am not a aerodynamics expert. Although I tried several approaches, I could not find a better bullet shape rather than ball shape. I really hope anyone would like to help to design a good bullet shape.
