Complete Hydroponic Tower with instructions and parts list
I had already printed the hydroponic tower and successfully used it. In doing so, I noticed a few things I wanted to improve.
To have a functional hydroponic tower, each print plate can be printed once. I actually print in PLA because my hydroponic tower is protected. However, it should be printed with PETG if used outdoors.
I use ready-made net pots instead of the printed net pots. I also use a standard garden hose that fits perfectly onto my pump and the top end.
Currently I have only grown lettuce, but my second tower should also have other types of plants.

Printing and assembly instructions:
Each print plate can be printed once as described above. The bucket lid consists of three parts and is connected with screws and nuts.
I printed the cover caps for the bucket lids in white and blue for water. For the pump cover I used white and yellow.
Here is a list of the changes:
- For example, I added a cap for empty slots entirely anew.
- I also added some larger holes inside the segments to allow for a more uneven water flow so that the roots are better supplied with water.
- I also added a filter disc (that's what I call it) to the spacers.
- Optimization of the print plates (number of elements on the print plate
- Caps for bucket lids on individual print plates and in matching colors
- printed net pots with a larger central opening so that the roots can grow through better
Keep your eyes peeled: I'm currently working on a bucket lid for common buckets from Germany.
