Description

This tool is designed to assist nurses, medical professionals, and individuals who need to open large quantities of blister-packaged pills, or to assist those with limited hand mobility or dexterity challenges. It features a carefully measured punch mechanism and small integrated spikes to help dispense a wide variety of pills quickly and efficiently.

Printing Notes:
This print requires supports for proper fabrication. More durable filaments may be preferable, however PLA works wonderfully as well.

This design is my own, though inspired by similar concepts aimed at improving blister pack accessibility.

How to Use:
Please reference the photos attached above. Place the blister pack with the flat paper/foil face against the flat surface inside the tool. Line up the plunger over the pill and firmly squeeze. This punch should fit most pills that are difficult to dispense, so it is not designed to work with extremely large pills.

Tip:

This tool is designed to hold the pill when it is inclined backwards, and when tipped forwards the pill should slide out automatically.

I want this tool to be as useful as possible, the model is very easy for me to edit, so please let me know if there are any modifications you would like to see!
