Description

Ikea BROR to Everbilt Anti-Vibration Adapters

The IKEA BROR is a popular workbench system among 3D printer users, known for its stability, clean aesthetic, and ability to support significant weight.

Modern 3D printers, such as the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, can generate considerable vibration. Depending on your home's construction, these vibrations may resonate through the floor, making the printer seem louder than it actually is. This can be disruptive to family members or neighbors.

Fortunately, solutions for noisy household appliances like washing machines have led to a wide variety of anti-vibration pads from manufacturers such as Everbilt. These thick rubber pads are designed to dampen vibration and prevent it from transmitting through the floor.

These 3D printed adapters modify the L-shaped feet of the IKEA BROR to fit the circular foot design commonly found on appliances. They are sturdy, durable, and when printed in black, complement the appearance of the anti-vibration pads.  The adapters sit flush with the BROR foot, resulting in a clean and professional installation.

Simply remove the existing slip-on anti-scratch covering and slip on the adapter. Mate it with the anti-vibration pad, and you're done.

Happy (quieter) printing!
