Description

I found a 12v high speed fan on Aliexpress and wanted to do something with it. I already had the Bosch 12V battery so I remixed the model by Ksuszka to hold the battery and made the fan part on top my self. There exist also a version for the 12V Milwaukee battery.

Print settings

  • 0.2mm layer height
  • You will need supports for the battery holder and main body
  • I printed it with ASA but PLA/PETG will work fine

You will need the following parts

Assembly

  • Tap the holes in the main body to m3
  • Push the fan in to the main body (wiring first) against the little stops
  • Route the wiring out the middle
  • Crimp 1 spade connector with a wire to the switch
  • Crimp the other spade connector to the negative of the fan
  • Solder the positive of the fan to the switch
  • I used some hot glue to hold the pot meter in place
  • If everything works you can press/glue the fingerguard and nozzle in place

In case there are any issues with the Aliexpress links, below are some reference images and search terms.
