Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed these printable end-caps to convert almost any board into a sturdy, custom-length monitor riser and to double as accessory holders: the sides feature the Honeycomb Storage Wall (HSW) pattern, so any standard HSW insert can snap right in for extra storage and cable-management options.
What You’ll Need
| Item | Qty | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Printed end pieces | 2 | Mirror the STL so you have a left and right side. |
| Board / shelf | 1 | Any straight board works; I used a 24 × 10 × 0.5 in (610 × 254 × 13 mm) shelf from Lowe’s. I wouldnt go deeper then 10in you can see in my picture it extends past the stand. |
| #6 wood screws | 6 | Length should be suitable for your board thickness |
Assembly
- Print two ends.
- Position the board between the printed sides, ensuring a flush fit.
- Pre-drill pilot holes if needed to prevent splitting.
- Secure each side with three #6 screws driven from the bottom
Your riser is now ready to elevate your monitor—and, thanks to the built-in HSW honeycomb pattern, you can clip on pen cups, USB holders, cable hooks, or any other standard insert to keep your desk tidy. If you use a different board size or hardware, let everyone know in the comments!
