Brother F420 Sewing Machine Transport Extension

This transport extension precisely fits the Brother F420 sewing machine. The extension can be used to transport the foot pedal, power cord, sewing machine accessories, and additional presser feet under the sewing machine cover.

Model

The model is printed in three parts: the carrier and two boxes. The parts are assembled using screws and heat-set threaded inserts.

Required Parts

• 3 x M3 x 0.4 threaded inserts
• 3 x M3 x 4 countersunk screws
• 4 x rubber feet / felt glides

Material

I printed the parts using Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 filament in white.

Assembly

During assembly, ensure that the threaded inserts are 4mm in height and do not penetrate the 5mm carrier plate during the heat-setting process.

Two felt glides are adhered to the two angled surfaces from below. Two more are attached to two selectable opposing positions from below.
