Description

Cave set for OpenForge 2.0 including OpenLock magnetic topless bases. Everything you need for a cave system. This is a remix of the grand work of the awesome Devon Jones. This is just the makerworld compilation of some of his great work. Please consider supporting him on Patreon.

Included are:

  • cave entrance
  • 2x2 dry cave floor
  • 4x1 dry cave walls (2 variants)
  • 2x2 dry cave outcrops (2 variants)
  • 1x1 dry cave corners (inward and outward)
  • bases magnetic topless:
    • 2x2 (standard tile)
    • 4x1 (for walls)
    • 1x1 (for corners)

Images done just out of the printer without any painting, printed in BambuLab brown PLA and desert tan PLA matte.

For the bases, you can use my Makerworld OpenForge 2.0 Fast Bases model and profile.

If you like this model and other of my uploaded OpenForge models, and want to show your thanks, you can boost my models.

Assembly:

  1. Insert magnets into the bases (if not wanting to use the OpenLock clips)
  2. Glue the object to the base

For magnets you can either use 5mm neodym magnet balls/spheres or regular 5x3 neodym magnets. I used both and there is no detectable difference. Both can freely re-orient within the nook, so don't worry about the correct orientation when putting them in.
