M.C. ESCHER: MAGNETIC TWO GEESE TESELLATION

I created this project several years ago (see photos in the description), framing it with walnut wood and connecting the pieces with Velcro to allow for various color configurations. Now, it seems the time has come to share it, so I've added the option of embedding magnets (dimensions: dia 6.5 mm H 2.5 mm) on the underside.

A minimum of two pieces are needed to complete a set for arrangement side-by-side. The magnet is optional; if you wish to include it, you will need to remove the backing; otherwise, leave it—it will appear seamless.

They can also all serve as keychains, using the eyelet to attach a chain.

This is the fourth of my interpretations of one of the tessellations by the great Dutch artist M.C. Escher.

A single tile that can be repeated and interlocked countless times to cover even very large surfaces without leaving any gaps.
