I have a small flat, but I was wondering how to fit an A1 Mini with AMS Lite here. You know what? I finally found a way…
This is also a way to make it cheap, especially for the two two-color version. (AMS Lite MOBO + one feeder unit + bambu bus it's around 140EUR)
This is the way:
I integrated AMS Lite with A1 Mini.
The mobo of AMNS is in the pillar behind the Z-axis profile.
Cable management is beautiful, as almost the whole cable is hidden.
Now you can use the AMS with containers for filament like Polymaker Polydryer
It saves a lot of space. especially if you need only two colors, then only one feeder unit has to be installed.
What is also very important, in my opinion, the Mini with this mod looks like a Monster mini on steroids :D
To install the AMS Lite Mother board you need to use the same oryginal screws, the same for locking the feeder units. Top cover is secured by screws which you will find in AMS Lite to secure the stand.
