Myst Island

This is a replica of Myst Island from the best-selling video game called Myst.  I included a frame that can be printed, if you choose, so that you can glue the island into it.  

I made the frame deep so that it can filled with colored resin in order to replicate the sea surrounding the island.  This can easily be slide downward if you don't plan on adding resin to the island and you don't want the frame to be so deep.

I recommend printing the island at 12mm layer height at the very least, lower if you can handle the print time.  Any higher than 12mm and the trees, ship, and logo get very angry and refuse to be printed properly.  Trust me…lol.  

If you're going to paint the island (I still haven't gotten around to mine yet, oops!) then I recommend giving it a few coats of Rust-Oleum automotive filler primer to smooth everything out and get the model primed for painting (with acrylic paints).
