SPLATTERSHOT

Introducing Makerworld’s inaugural parody of Splatoon’s celebrated blaster—a videogame that has captivated and delighted me. The Splattershot, one of the iconic weapons in the Splatoon series, where ink and style reign supreme, is compact, colorful, and designed like a water pistol, perfectly embodying the game's playful yet competitive spirit. In Splatoon, it serves as the quintessential base weapon: versatile, balanced, and suitable for all Inklings and Octolings.

Printing is straightforward, and inserting the water spray kit is even easier—minimal supports required. For optimal ease, however, ample glue and careful, straight alignment are key, but your dexterity will surely prove more than adequate—fun is guaranteed!

Only two components require separate purchase: a 4mm diameter grommet and a plastic bottle!

I opted for a plastic bottle typically used for sparkling water or “soda,” fitted with a siphon, readily available at most well-stocked supermarkets! I’ve included a web image to illustrate the product:

In any event, the bottle housing diameter measures 92.8 mm. Should anyone require it, I can provide an adjustable mount for alternative bottles, but this bottle yields superb SplatterShot replication!

Below are several images of the assembly process—requiring little further explanation!

Have fun!!!

Hi! I love this design and am printing it for my family. I had trouble finding the exact same bottle size, so I created a customisable bottle holder to make it work perfectly. Thanks for the inspiration! https://makerworld.com/en/models/1608295-customisable-holder-for-splattershot-by-acstudio

awesome water gun. I designed a new holder for a standard 500ml bottle. I also didn't have the special adapter to I just made a small hole in the lid and pushed the tube through

The kids are having the timne of their lives with this. Great execution. One modification I mad was to add a weight to the tube so the tube inside is always submerged. Great work!

very cool model I printed an apple green and white. I didn’t have the special parts to hook it up to the water bottle so instead I took the cap poked a hole through it put the tube through the cap and then stuck into a straw.

This is an awesome design. Cudos for that. Too bad there is no way to repair this if some parts fail. Dont get me wrong, glueing together some small parts is fine, as long as the can easily replaced when broken. However glueing together everything is not good at all.

Completely disagree, kids are going to play with this hard, I don't want to be repairing it constantly. I can get to the battery, that's good enough for me.

I am still in the process of assembly, but I already love the project!!! I had some trouble finding a suitable bottle here in Germany, but I found a Doctor Pepper that fits reasonably well.
