Bill of Materials
Description
Crawler wheels designed with light weight and high clearance in mind. These are very sturdy if printed properly.
The design itself need heat inserts for the screws. I made them to perfectly fit M3 heat inserts. This will make them less prone to crack when you mount them.
Designed for SLW hubs. Works with both Vanquish hubs and the chinese ones.
Highly customizable offset since you choose the width of the hubs yourself. Can be used for narrowing track width on capra axles for example.
I supplies a profile for PAHT-CF but I have tested to print in PLA aswell and it definitely works!
You will need to supply your own hubs!
I suggest using 18mm hubs as a starting point. If you go below 15mm you will run into cleareance issues.
Required hardware (per wheel):
12x M3x6 screws
6x M3x5x4 Round Threaded Brass Heat-Insert Nut
Use a soldering iron to carefully sink the heat inserts in the cutouts
Tested with Louise/Duratrax tires and Jconcepts. Jconcepts fit very well!
The ones in the picture is printed with PAHT-CF, hence the rough finish.
