Description
Boost Me (for free)
Hey dude! A boost would be really cool and helpful, thank you, enjoy!
I only found models with M4 or M5 bolts, so I made one for M6, I think its sturdier and I have way more of that size bolt so that is why I needed it. The neck is also a bit taller than most other models I found.
Standard 40mm M6 bolt should get this fastened down to most things, the bolt has a very snug fit, you might need to hammer or screw it in, I think that adds to the stability of the model.
If you use it, give me a boost! Print it as strong as you need, it works in a lot of materials, PETG for outdoor, maybe something with Carbon fiber if you want real good strength, and feel free to toy with the infill, even with 100% the print time isn't very long.
Should not need any supports.
HOT TIP: If you have problems with the thing you are attaching is “sliding” cause it is slipery, there are a few things you can do, some of the “attachments” have rubber in them, see if you can use one of those, otherwise maybe get a sheet of very thin rubber to put over the ball when you add the attachment. Roughing up the surface of the ball with some rough sandpaper might help as well.
