Description

A drop-in replacement hook for the mesh roller baby gate that’s common in UK homes. It copies the factory part that broke on mine, but lets you screw it to the wall either straight on or turned 90 °.

  • Hook-with-side-mount – mirrors the original with both mounting wings.
  • Flat-plate remix – side wings trimmed off so it sits flush when you only need a front mount.

Printing notes

  • Best printed upright. I used tree supports under the front section – feel free to try it flat if your slicer is happier that way.
  • PLA at 0.4 mm layers, 25 % gyroid infill, three perimeters and four top/bottom layers has proven sturdy here.
  • Screw holes are sized for standard woodscrews.

The design is a remix of Brunzer’s original (two-wing version). Double-check it’s secure before you rely on it to keep little ones safe.

Happy printing and stay safe.
