Description

Circular Hygrometer/Thermometer Printer Mount

  • This mount is compatible with P1P/P1S/X1C/X1E.
  • I can only recommend the profiles I created (“Designer” print profile) for the best results.
  • Print using a filament that can withstand high temperatures (NOT PLA!), I used ABS, however, PETG should work just fine.
  • No support or brim is needed.
  • Here's the device I'm using, however, you can get the same from Amazon or other places. Search using the keywords “digital hygrometer thermometer”: https://a.aliexpress.com/_Evc7mN3

*Update - 24th January 2024*

Thanks to the feedback from @uberroot, I have now added the “Short_Hygrometer_Mount” print profile, it has a much shorter stem compared to the first model ("Hygrometer_Mount"). While I didn't personally need this as I only use this setup for pre-heating the chamber, the updated mount allows you to view the hygrometer much earlier as the print continues and the build plate goes down.

1. Importing:

Import the 3MF file into the slicer and make sure the selected settings are correct (video below). I have already set the correct settings for the 3MF file, but it is a good practice to verify, and you still have to select your printer if it's not a P1S.

2. Post-processing:

After printing, use side cutters or, for a cleaner cut, flush cutters to trim the tip of the mouse ears (brim ears). You can also optionally sand down the edges for a smoother finish.

3. Installation:

Just place the hygrometer/thermometer into the mount and clip the mount over the side rail of the printer as shown below.

Thank you for printing, please provide feedback and share your results! 😄
