Description

Since I couldn't find a solution that I liked, I decided to personally design this practical adapter to make eSun filament spools (and other brands with a similar cardboard core) compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS, by reusing the NFC chips from original Bambu spools.

How it works:
- The ring snaps perfectly into the center hole of eSun cardboard spools. (I haven’t tested it yet with other cardboard spools)
- A small piece of the NFC tag from an original Bambu Lab spool (for example, from the chip tab) is cut off.
- The chip is inserted into the adapter slot and secured with the snap-fit cap, where you can mark the material and color!

This way, the AMS correctly detects the filament’s material and color even if it's not an original Bambu spool — no need to buy expensive refills or manually enter the spool settings in the AMS!
