Ox and Horse Tag

Each day feels like a top spun relentlessly, from dawn till dusk. Awakening to the relentless pressure of KPIs, I cram onto the sardine-packed subway to the office, toiling away like a blindfolded ox in my cubicle. My WeChat group buzzes with 99+ unread messages, the boss’s “Received” more terrifying than a barrage of urgent calls. I perform the most arduous tasks for the meagerest recompense, deriding myself as a "corporate workhorse," yet even a workhorse has its rest, unlike us wage earners, doomed to endless overtime and a bleak, uncertain future. 

The plight of the wage earner is known only to themselves.

Observing that the traditional Chinese character for “horse” can incorporate the character for “ox,” I designed this pendant, incorporating poignant phrases reflecting the struggles of the working class. A second pendant depicts a statue that subtly blends the forms of an ox and a horse.

For optimal results, it is recommended to print the text pendant upright and with supports to prevent detachment due to insufficient base contact area. The image pendant, conversely, should be printed lying on its back. These orientations will yield superior print quality.
