Tip:
Taobao occasionally offers coupons (Billion Yuan subsidies or flash sales)
You might be able to buy components for 1 yuan or even 0 yuan (pay close attention)
Pay attention to electrical safety
Pay attention to electrical safety
Pay attention to electrical safety (Say important things three times)
Do not connect the wires incorrectly (This will burn out components and cause a fire)
Material Checklist:
Multimeter (for measuring voltage and positive/negative poles)
National standard red and black parallel wires (red wire, black wire) Tip: You can disassemble them from unused appliances (They may not be red and black, but you must clearly remember the positive and negative poles)
Soldering iron, solder wire (for soldering circuits) Tip: If you don't know how, learn from Douyin University; the author cannot explain in detail here
12V case fan (12 cm long x 12 cm wide x 2.5 cm high) (power supply fan or case cooling fan are both acceptable) The author used a discarded power supply fan
Flat head self-tapping flat tail screw M4*8 (at least 4)
Cooling fan protective metal mesh cover (It is recommended to buy one for maximum safety) (Another print profile has a protective mesh, but it's not hard enough and might press against the fan, and it's also easy to break) (You can also print someone else's fan mesh cover model)
M3 screw M3 nut (minimum 1.2 cm) (I used 1.8 cm) Purchase according to your needs
M3M4M5M6M8M10 304 Stainless Steel Phillips Round Head Screw and Nut Set Assortment Pan Head Screws
((M3 screw M3 nut)) M3*12 [50 sets]

PWM DC Motor Speed Controller 5V-35 Speed Switch Board 5A (1 piece)

2A boost converter with Type-C port (1 piece)

Connect the fan to the computer for power using a Type-C data cable, but the 5V power supply from the computer case is insufficient to power a 12V fan, so you need to buy a boost converter and adjust it to 13V, 14V, or 15V, then use a PWM DC motor speed controller to switch the fan and adjust the fan speed

You need to DIY and spot weld the wires yourself
Rotary potentiometer to increase voltage

Check voltage
Secure the boost converter (Just tighten it appropriately; don't overtighten and damage the boost converter)
Thread the fan wires through the hole (If the fan wire is not long enough, extend it. Note: use electrical tape to insulate individual wires, otherwise a short circuit will occur)

Under the washer, put on the provided nut
If you don't have an electric drill, you'll need to twist it forcefully
