Description

Drybox for filament spools with a diameter of 200 mm and a maximum width of 65 mm.

To build it you can use a 4L food container that you can find on amazon. This is an exmaple: https://amzn.eu/d/gNHdxcL

I created this box modifying the original work of Leinich:  https://makerworld.com/it/models/165093-dry-box-filament-box-for-vtopmart-container-4l?from=search#profileId-282399

Compared to the original design I added two additional containers for the silica gel in the central part and in the front part so that I can add more desiccant.

I also modified the lid to accommodate an hygrometer and a PC4-M10 fitting to fit the PTFE tube.

Finally I created a cap to put on the PC4-M10 fitting to seal the box when not iused.

As with the original model, the following components are required to build a single box:

  • 1x PC4-M10 fitting
  • 1x hygrometer
  • 4x 608ZZ ball bearing

In the stl files I added two versions of the base: one complete with the front box and one without it in case you want to add the hygrometer inside the box on the front.
I also added three versions of the lid in order to accommodate different hygrometers with an angle of 0, 20 and 30 degrees.
