A custom-designed chassis tailored to my specific needs:

1, Low power consumption: An external DC power supply is used; an internal power supply is avoided due to high standby power.

2, Multiple drive bays: Designed for audio-visual storage, accommodating four 3.5-inch hard drives.

3, Compact size: The finished chassis measures 257mm L x 203mm W x 135mm H (including feet).

4, Excellent thermal management: A 20mm airflow gap between hard drives keeps temperatures below 40°C.

PETG printing is recommended. The ten printed parts—originally nine, but separated for easier color coordination—are printed in gray, blue, and gold. Feel free to adjust the color scheme. Printing all components on an A1 printer takes approximately 1 day, 3 hours, and 12 minutes, requiring 711g of filament (only the frame and hard drive mounts use minimal supports).

Assembly components:

34 M3*5*5 embedded nuts (required for all holes except the feet; a soldering iron and nut-setting tool are needed).

36 M3*6*6 countersunk screws (for front and top panels and hard drive installation; due to tight space constraints, taller screws are unsuitable for hard drives).

10 M3*24*6 countersunk screws (for side panels and frame).

8 M3*14*6 countersunk screws (for mounting hard drive cages to the frame).

(All screws are countersunk, black is recommended, nut thickness 1mm).

Feet: 10mm diameter feet installed using self-tapping screws.

Supported hardware:

Supports only 17x17 ITX motherboards with full-height expansion slots and ultra-thin heat sinks (maximum 35mm thickness). (These motherboards are common; refer to the provided image. The assembly process is also illustrated in the accompanying image).

External DC power supply only; internal power supplies and graphics cards are not supported.

Two 9015 fans, exhausting air (inlet airflow produces excessive noise); one fan is sufficient.

12mm power switch, 5mm hard drive indicator light (indicator light optional).

Four hard drives: supports four 3.5-inch, four 2.5-inch, or a mixed configuration of 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives. (ITX motherboards typically have only two SATA interfaces, requiring a mPCIe-to-2SATA adapter. Power supply connectors may also be insufficient, necessitating a 1-to-2 or 1-to-4 splitter. For four large drives, a high-wattage power supply (100W+) is recommended. My setup uses four 12TB drives with peak power consumption of 85W, standby power of 15W, and normal operating power of 30W (for reference)).

Building a custom chassis is demanding; the design, modeling, material preparation, testing, and construction took approximately two weeks. Those with similar needs and limited time may contact me or search on Xiaohuangyu.

All models have undergone rigorous testing and refinement before release, ensuring optimal print quality. Minor variations may still occur due to individual printer settings and materials used.
