Gear Shift Fidget Toy XXL - Print In Place

UPDATE 13.06.25: Some users have had issues because the shaft was moving while the knob was being printed. I have implemented some bridges that you must cut to prevent the shaft from moving during printing.

I’m excited to share the XXL redesign of the model, as simply scaling up the original wasn’t enough due to tolerances and certain features becoming unnecessarily bulky.

This is a fidget toy that mimics a gearbox with the snap of each gear and the repositioning of the lever.

The design is fully print-in-place, so it requires no assembly. 

This new redesign includes:

• 🚗 A sleek new exterior pattern
• 🛠️ An improved spring design that resists deformation
• 🎛️ A more "car-like" knob
• 🔊 Incredibly satisfying snap fittings with minimal wear (seriously, it feels almost like shifting gears in a real car)
• 💪 A reinforced shaft that, thanks to the thickness, is now much more durable and won’t break.

Plus, you don’t need an AMS to print in full multicolor! I’ve included a print profile with optimized numbers and symbol for the knob, designed for easy part-by-part printing and press-fit assembly—no glue should be required.
