Description
This pen holder is more than just a practical desk accessory—it's a miniature piece of global history in 3D. I designed this model to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The cylindrical shape provides ample space for pens, markers, or even small tools, while the detailed world map—inspired by classic relief maps—gives the object a decorative, almost educational character.
I designed the holder for easy printing with FDM 3D printers. I printed the model in white PLA with a post-processing enhancement of the world map in a gold texture to accentuate the continents.
Whether in the office, home office, or as a gift for travel enthusiasts, this pen holder brings order and a sense of the world to any desk. As a maker, I'm particularly pleased to combine a useful everyday object with a touch of global flair.
