Description

This is the classic Edison Light Bulb in a sculptured lamp version. It can be lit up with either a LED Strip, the Lamp Kit, Tea Lights, or no lights at all for a classic decoration.

I have experimented with different filaments for the light tube and the Bambu PLA Translucent filaments work's very well and let a lot light through. If you are looking for a more subtle light effect, then normal PLA or other filaments works perfect. There is much fun to be had in playing with filament colors or LED colors to make it unique to your style. The small model in the pictures is printed with a multi-color filament to produce the color play.

Sizes

Large Version: 31,3 x 17,9 cm fully assembled.

The lights you can install in this are the LED Strip wrapped around the center pipe (gives the brightest light), the LED Lamp Kit (unscrew the glass on it to get the best light) or Tea Lights.

Small Version: 23,2 x 13 cm fully assembled, printing size fit's the A1 Mini.

The lights you can install in this are the LED Strip wrapped around the center pipe (gives the brightest light) or between 1 and 5 LED Tea Lights.

Printing

  • 0.12 mm layer height
  • 15-20% rectilinear infill
  • Skirt on all tall parts
  • Light tube: Set “Line width” to 0.4 mm for the walls (see picture to find the settings)
  • Bulb: 3 walls. Manual tree supports, these are ready in my print profiles (see picture). I also recommend using maximum cooling and leaving the door open if you have a printer with cabinet.
  • Tested and printed with PLA (standard, translucent and matte)
  • Parts can be glued together or left loose as they are slotted into each other and wont fall over

Have fun! c",)
