This is an additional PTFE holder for Bambu A1.
It can be used for alternative spool holders.

It fits for the new PTFE Holder of the A1 (since 2025)

Remarks:

This is a redesign of the previous remix version. Due to feedback that some people had problems with the closure melting, I created and optimized a new design of my own. In my tests with Bambu PLA, this design works very well and I had no problems with melting.
After printing, simply open the closure carefully.

Improvements (21.12.2025)

Sometimes the solution is quite simple, but you have to think of it first.

To prevent gluing at the closure, I modified the model so that it is printed in the open position. This prevents the closure from gluing.

To prevent fusion at the joint, I increased the gaps and manually added a kind of support. These small bridges support the filament during the transition and break away easily when the joint is moved.

It is important that the slicer settings are transferred from the print profile, otherwise the support will be optimised away by the slicer.
It is best to check again during slicing whether the support is also being printed. If not, reduce this value again.

alternative Version available

If all these optimisations do not help, you can try this alternative design without any joints.
