Ultimate Nintendo Switch 2 Rugged Case with Interchangeable Inserts

This case is based on Whity's exemplary model.

My son desired a protective case for his new Switch 2, capable of accommodating the console, charger, cables, and all his games during transport.

Mission accomplished, presenting the result:

The inserts flanking the controllers are interchangeable, allowing for personalized customization of additional inserts.

The file “Insert-Plug-EU-Final” is exclusively compatible with the original EU charging plug, as it was the only one available for measurement!

The case lid is offered in two versions: one adorned with a logo and one without.

The lid offers sufficient space for a slim microfiber cloth, providing enhanced screen protection. However, I still recommend applying a screen protector.

All components print seamlessly without supports!

I opted for PLA, except for the clasps, which are PETG for enhanced flexibility. Nevertheless, PETG should perform admirably for all components.

The clasps exhibit exceptional durability and resistance to breakage. In the event of breakage, a relatively rigid TPU is recommended.

Assembly of the clasps and hinges requires six M3x30 screws.

I previously crafted a similar case for his Switch 1, which he has utilized for years without incident. 

Regrettably, I no longer possess the original files, but I am currently undertaking their reconstruction.

While incorporating a seal, I doubt the case's complete waterproof integrity given its PLA construction. Other materials might achieve this, but I cannot offer a guarantee. :)
